Through funding from the state of California, via the University of California Office of the President and the UC Berkeley Office of the Vice Chancellor of Research, CITRIS and the Banatao Institute invite proposals for grants from a new Climate Action Acceleration Fund.

Awards of up to $10,000 will support UC Berkeley faculty, staff or student projects related to sustainability and climate resilience that are ready to proceed to the next stage of commercialization.

The CITRIS Climate Action Acceleration Fund aims to prepare research teams to advance their ideas for technology that improves environmental sustainability, mitigates harmful effects of climate change or strengthens resilience of human and ecological systems.

Previous recipients of the CITRIS Seed Awards are encouraged to apply.
