Please join us to learn about Big Ideas @ Berkeley! Since its founding in 2006, this annual prize competition has inspired innovative and high-impact student projects aimed at solving the world’s most pressing problems. By providing concrete support, visibility, and review, Big Ideas challenges students to set ambitious goals for current and future endeavors.

With the support of the Rudd Family Foundation, this year’s competitions will be the biggest yet!

John Seely Brown is a visiting scholar and advisor to the Provost and the Independent Co-Chairman of the Deloitte Center for the Edge. He is the former Chief Scientist of Xerox Corporation and the director of its Palo Alto Research Center (PARC).

Informational posters of past Big Ideas innovations will be on display outside the lecture.
