The Center for Information Technology Research in the Interest of Society and the Banatao Institute (CITRIS) at the University of California is seeking a Digital Communications Manager to lead digital communications across its four-campus ecosystem.
Based at UC Berkeley, this role manages the CITRIS website and digital platforms, develops and edits content, and supports social media and event communications. The position works closely with faculty, staff, and partners to translate complex research into clear, engaging stories for broad audiences.
The ideal candidate brings strong writing and editing skills, experience with content management systems such as WordPress, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a collaborative environment. Experience in academic, research, or nonprofit communications is a plus.
