The Center for Information Technology Research in the Interest of Society and the Banatao Institute (CITRIS) at the University of California seek a director of corporate relations to build, maintain and manage a portfolio of partner companies to support CITRIS research initiatives and programs. This position will be based at CITRIS’s headquarters at UC Berkeley.
Responsibilities include raising $3 million to $5 million annually from corporate partnerships, creating persuasive and compelling support solicitations for existing and emerging programming, and working with leadership across CITRIS’s four-campus ecosystem to identify opportunities for membership and research collaborations.
Required qualifications include seven to 10 years of high-level fundraising experience, experience in establishing strategies to identify and qualify corporate partners, experience in managing a portfolio of at least 30–50 donors and prospects, and proven project management skills.
