The UC Merced campus of CITRIS and the Banatao Institute is seeking a managing director to oversee programming and operations. This position will help to develop and maintain partnerships with researchers, administrators, staff, education partners and lead strategic development of new programs and initiatives in technology.
Duties include:
- Leading short- and long-term operational planning and budgeting
- Hiring and supervising support personnel and student assistants
- Providing analyses of budgetary, financial, accounting and reporting in support of programmatic needs
Requirements include a master’s degree or equivalent and experience editing and writing for both academic and public audiences. Experience in research-related administrative matters or experience with the federal grant submission process is preferred.
