CITRIS and the Banatao Institute are seeking applicants for two key staff positions at the headquarters at UC Berkeley, to help support the institution’s mission of advancing information technology research for the public good.
Manager, Finance & Administration
The manager of finance and administration will work closely with CITRIS’s director of finance and research support and be responsible for the CITRIS budget and financial management, human resources procedures, and Seed Funding program administration. They will also supervise CITRIS’s administrative coordinator. Required qualifications include the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely, advanced knowledge of financial analysis and reporting techniques and human resources policies and procedures, and the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
Project Specialist
The project specialist will conduct analytical studies and projects of moderate scope and complexity to address a variety of policy, research and procedural issues across several CITRIS operations functions, including administration, development and knowledge management. Their responsibilities will include assisting with donor prospect research and stewardship, supporting the planning and development of internship and fellowship programs, and helping to cultivate an engaged CITRIS PI researcher community. Required qualifications include sound judgment, the ability to analyze and synthesize large amounts of data with strong attention to detail, and proficiency in multitasking within demanding timeframes.
