CITRIS and the Banatao Institute are seeking applicants for two key staff positions at the headquarters at UC Berkeley, to help support the institution’s mission of advancing information technology research for the public good.
The event coordinator, in partnership with the director of events, will plan, organize and implement events of varying size and formality, including symposiums, conferences, banquets and VIP briefings. They will also manage smaller events by securing venues, creating agendas, ordering food and arranging clean-up. Required qualifications include excellent organizational abilities, good interpersonal communication, and proficiency in platforms such as Eventbrite, Aventri, Canva, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Suite, Zoom Meeting and Zoom Webinar.
CIEE Project/Program Coordinator
The project/program coordinator will perform analysis of data and systems pertaining to moderately complex projects, policies and initiatives for the California Institute for Energy and Environment (CIEE). Their responsibilities will include collecting and analyzing data on assigned projects, preparing and editing research documents, and assembling information for discussions. Required qualifications include communication skills, discretion and a strong attention to detail.
