Development Associates

Help strengthen the CITRIS philanthropic community through research and creative support. Your resourcefulness in content curation and liaising with campus fundraisers will move the needle on expanding CITRIS’s donor base and inspiring connections. Necessary qualifications include experience with or desire to learn development and alumni engagement communication and practices; experience with graphic design and expertise in Adobe Creative Suite or Canva; and strong analytical abilities.

Marketing and Communications Assistants

Work alongside the central CITRIS communications team to provide website support and contribute to web, email, print and social media campaigns to launch and promote cutting-edge programs and flagship events. Required qualifications include experience with WordPress or another other web CMS; experience with graphic design, web design, and UX principles and practices; expertise in Adobe Creative Suite or Canva; and strong analytical abilities.

Technology Writer

Collaborate with experts and leaders across CITRIS’s four campuses to distill complex information into compelling stories. You’ll help produce content in multiple formats such as feature articles, announcements, news briefs, social media copy and more. Required qualifications include a minimum of 1–2 years of experience writing and editing published content in a science- or technology-related environment, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Writing Assistant

Play an essential role in monitoring and sharing CITRIS’s success stories. You’ll be responsible for a database of news media mentions that reference the institution and affiliated researchers, and you’ll also draft summaries of featured coverage for publication on the CITRIS website. You may also be assigned to write short news stories for the CITRIS newsletter. Required qualifications include experience writing or editing content for web, print and social media; and the ability to appropriately represent CITRIS when coordinating with staff, students and faculty.
