Title: Student Assistant Position with IT Division at LBNL
Undergraduate or graduate position, <50% during the academic year, 100%
during summer
Assignments may include:
- Provide assistance with use and programming of HPC cluster
- Tune scientific applications to run efficiently on these systems
- Consult on use of open source or third party applications
- Collaborate with Laboratory research on application development
Access to cluster for approved research (up to 10,000 cpu hours/year)
Duration based on continued business need, availability of funding, and satisfactory job performance. Student salary dependent on years in school, schedule range $13.25/hr-$22.46/hr.
