Jill Finlayson, managing director of the CITRIS Innovation Hub, shared her expertise at Al Hussein Technical University in Amman, Jordan, in a recent visit.
The event, connecting local Jordanian youth with global expertise, featured women leaders from Silicon Valley’s innovation ecosystem offering their insights and career journeys, with an emphasis on discussing the challenges and opportunities for women in tech. TED-style talks covered a variety of timely topics in technology intended to empower students and forge pathways for them to excel in high-impact industries.
Finlayson’s talk encompassed her work with innovation for social good, and presentations were followed by a panel discussion and hands-on workshops led by the speakers.
