Immergo Labs awarded $1M by NSF small business innovation program

CITRIS Foundry alum Immergo Labs has received a $1 million Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to further research and development on their virtual reality physical therapy application.

The startup, a member of the fall 2021 incubator cohort founded by three UC Santa Cruz alumni, aims to reduce costs for patients and clinics alike while improving health outcomes and setting a new standard for hybrid physical rehabilitation care.
