“Computing and the Practice of History” is an effort to elucidate some of the opportunities, advantages, and pitfalls that accompany the “digital turn” in historical research. Our guest is Peter Bol, the Charles H. Carswell Professor of East Asian Languages and Civilizations and the Director of the Center for Geographic Analysis at Harvard.
