Innovate, Collaborate, And Create For The Following Nonprofits:
Ever walk into a store and see products labeled “Fair Trade Certified”? Design for the international organization responsible for certifying and labeling products that impacts 1.5 million farmers worldwide.
Today, the United States is 5% of the world population but has 25% of the world’s prisoners. Root and Rebound combats mass incarceration by equipping people in reentry from prison and jail, their family, agencies, and supporting nonprofit organizations, with resources for successful reintegration. Support Root and Rebound in streamlining California’s reentry process.
While nearly 7,000 residents in the Berkeley area are registered with a physical or mental disability, only 2,000 of these residents have access to clinical services that are necessary for them to stay healthy. Work with Easy Does It to create products that can service the remaining 5,000 Berkeley residents that go untreated every year.
Every 2 minutes, somebody in the United States is a victim of sexual assault. Specifically, college age women are 4 times more likely to be targets of sexual assault than anybody else. Design for BAWAR to join their mission of increasing access to education, counseling, and advocacy for Bay Area victims of all ages.
Have you ever wanted to make a sustainable international impact or work on a global development project? Project RISHI works in a village called Bharog Baneri, India to implement a variety of projects from educational empowerment to health. Design for Project RISHI to make an impact on a community over 7500 miles away from Berkeley, CA!
