UC Berkeley PhD student Dan Steingart and his research on printable batteries was recently featured on a television news story by Bay Area ABC7 News. Dan is working with Dr. James W. Evans and Dr. Paul Wright on the demand response (DR) research and development program that was implemented following California's electricity crisis of 2000-2001.
This project seeks to change how customers pay for power in a manner which promotes conservation and energy efficiency.
