Cyberarcheology research paper wins award

A team of CITRIS researchers received the best paper award at VSMM 2010 : 16th International Conference on Virtual Systems and Multimedia, in Korea, http://www.vsmm2010.or.kr/.  The paper: “Cyberarchaeology: Experimenting with Teleimmersive Archaeology“, presents a framework for collaborative cyberarchaeology aimed at remote real-time interaction with 3D archaeological models through a shared virtual environment. The team is made up of reserachers from both UC Merced and UC Berkeley.
