Climate TRACE is a coalition of researchers and tech companies — co-founded by 2014 CITRIS Foundry venture WattTime with support from Google — that tracks greenhouse gas pollution around the world using satellites, machine learning and other technology.

With support from former Vice President Al Gore, Climate TRACE hopes to hold polluters, both big and small, accountable with radical data transparency. This October, the coalition plans on releasing the first-ever asset-level inventory, which will show emissions from individual power plants, steel mills and cargo ships.
