Clarity Movement Co., a 2014 CITRIS Foundry company, has received $9.6 million in series A+ funding from several investors, including Amasia, Active Fund and Spero Ventures.
Through the use of air sensing technology, IoT devices and data analytics, Clarity aims to manage air quality in areas affected by climate change and pollution. The company’s Clarity Node-S, which has been installed in places from Los Angeles Unified School District to Mexico City, uses solar power and cellular communication to provide quick and accurate test results.
Clarity plans to use the funding to accelerate product development and support the growth of its technology globally.
