Ikhlaq Sidhu, dean and a professor of the School of Science & Technology at IE University in Madrid and senior fellow at CITRIS and the Banatao Institute, played a key role in the development of a new report, Navigating Technological and Geopolitical Transformation, from the 2025 IEX Berkeley Collider Summit.
As co-chair of the summit, Sidhu helped to convene more than 30 global leaders from academia, technology, venture capital, industry and policy at UC Berkeley’s International Co-Lab to discuss what institutions must do to remain competitive in an increasingly contested yet interconnected global system.
The report distills their insights on the structural shifts reshaping globalization and innovation systems in a world transformed by technology.
