CITRIS researcher named to NAE

CITRIS researcher Ken Goldberg, director of UC Berkeley’s AUTOLab and a professor of industrial engineering and operations research and of electrical engineering and computer sciences, has been named to the National Academy of Engineering (NAE). 

In his role as director of AUTOLab, Goldberg supervises research on robotics, with an emphasis on artificial intelligence (AI) and robot learning. He is being recognized for his contributions to practice, research and education in robotics and automation for industrial parts handling.
