CIDER to train 45 new drone pilots in spring 2025

The CITRIS Initiative for Drone Education and Research (CIDER) at UC Santa Cruz is starting its fourth year of training new commercial drone pilots through the CIDER Pilot Training Program. During 16 weeks in the winter and spring quarters of 2025, CIDER will train 41 undergraduate students from UC Santa Cruz, to operate drones safely for research and job opportunities. Four graduate students will also join to audit the program.
