Ayar Labs, a 2015 CITRIS Foundry venture, has secured a total of $155 million in series D funding from investors including AMD Ventures, Intel Capital and Nvidia. This brings the company’s total funding to $370 million and raises the company’s valuation to above $1 billion.

The funds will allow the company to scale its chip-to-chip optical interconnect solution, which addresses the bottleneck of data movement in the current AI infrastructure while reducing costs, latency and power consumption.
