Education is an important part of CITRIS, and People and Robots is proud to present online course material created and curated by our affiliated faculty, and to have partnerships with several outreach organizations. Robotics @ Berkeley

UC Berkeley student group that lowers barriers to participating in robotics by offering workshops, publicizing opportunities on campus, and supporting recreational projects and collegiate competition teams.

Pioneers in Engineering

Pioneers in Engineering (PiE) is a non-profit STEM outreach organization started at UC Berkeley that serves more than 350 high school students in the Bay Area. Their core mission is to make STEM education more accessible to all K-12 students through engaging, hands-on programs.

Pioneers in Engineering is currently being expanded to UC Merced.

Girls in Engineering

The Berkeley Girls in Engineering program is a week-long, non-residential summer camp for girls currently in 5th, 6th, and 7th grades to explore different aspects of what it means to be an engineer in a fun, hands-on environment.

African Robotics Network (AFRON)

AFRON is a community of institutions, organizations and individuals engaged in robotics in Africa. AFRON seeks to promote communication and collaborations that will enhance robotics-related education, research, and industry on the continent.
