Jennifer Lu

Research Interests

Professor Lu’s research is focused on harnessing unique expertise and capability of organic and inorganic materials synthesis, the overarching research theme of Professor Lu’s functional nanomaterial lab is to rationally design, synthesize and fabricate high-performance transducer material platforms based on the unique properties of nanomaterials and/or novel polymers. The ability of converting one type of energy into another offered by these transducer materials is the subject of fundamental scientific investigation and will enable a wide variety of applications in life science, green energy and artificial intelligence.
