Peng Yin

Peng Yin (he/him) is a higher education researcher-practitioner dedicated to supporting the learning and development of college students from nondominant backgrounds. After receiving his Ph.D. in the cluster of critical studies of race, class and gender at UC Berkeley’s School of Education, Yin became a Future of Higher Education postdoctoral fellow. In this role, he has been working closely with the CITRIS Workforce Innovation Program, contributing to the development and enhancement of various program infrastructures, including the summer workshop series. Concurrently, Yin has been leading a mixed methods research project focused on the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) identity development and career pathways of a diverse group of students participating in CITRIS Workforce Innovation internships.
