Mindy Morton

Mindy Morton is a partner with Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch, LLP, where she focuses on intellectual property, data privacy, internet and health care litigation. She helps companies from funded startups to public companies handle trade secrets, privacy, copyright, trademark, patent and complex commercial disputes. Morton frequently assists with complex commercial litigation involving software contracts, intellectual property licenses and noncompete agreements. She serves on Procopio’s management committee and leads the health care and trade secrets practice groups.

Mindy Morton graduated from UC Berkeley in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in political science with highest distinction in general scholarship and highest honors in political science. She received her Juris Doctor from Yale Law School in 1997, where she served as an editor for the Yale Law Journal. She previously served on the Young Alumni Council for the California Alumni Association Board of Directors and also chaired the Class of 1994  25th reunion committee. She currently serves as a co-chair for the UC Berkeley Women in Leadership Circle.
