Jolie Lam is the manager of the surgical robotics and digital health program at CITRIS and the Banatao Institute. Before joining CITRIS, she was a programmatic officer for the Foundations of Machine Learning program at the UC Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences, and she previously worked as an academic officer for the Guizhou-Berkeley Big Data Innovation Research Center at the UC Berkeley School of Social Welfare.
Lam is from Hong Kong and has worked in mainland China for multinational companies as well as startups. She has worked in financial publishing, investment banking, investor relations, manufacturing and accounting.
She enjoys nature, arts and music. She treasures friendships developed in her career and personal life.
