The CITRIS Foundry Innovation Incubator empowers entrepreneurs from the University of California to build transformative companies that will have a significant impact on the world. The program leverages the resources and expertise of the University of California innovation ecosystem and our global collaborations to support new ventures, social enterprises, and tech transfer pathways that can influence and impact entire industries.
Our program provides:
- $5,000 in cash to move your concept or prototype forward.
- More than $25,000 in value through in-kind infrastructure and services including office, meeting, and lab space; cloud computing; legal services; and educational resources.
- Access to design and prototyping tools at the CITRIS Invention Lab.
- Customized mentorship specific to your needs from our extensive network of entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts.
- A strong community of founders and startup alumni.
One founding team member must have one of the following affiliations with one of the CITRIS campuses (UC Davis, UC Berkeley, UC Santa Cruz, UC Merced, UCSF): current graduate student, undergraduate student, post-doc, faculty, staff, recent (< 3 years) alumni, visiting scholars.
