After an intense competition, a UC Berkeley team located on the 7th floor of the CITRIS Headquarters Building was awarded with a PR2 robot. Willow Garage announced 11 winners in early May. Led by Pieter Abbeel, the Berkeley team was able to program the robot to fold towels. Next the team will work on hierarchical planning, object recognition, and manufacturing tasks.
