Abstract:
The evaluation and management of new information technologies is an increasing challenge for health care organizations that want to establish innovation as a core strategic capability. The Innovation and Advanced Technology Group at Kaiser Permanente looks at technologies from clinical, business, and strategic viewpoints to help inform internal decisions on technology expenditure and direction. This session will discuss the work of this innovation group, as well as some of the factors and priorities that influence KP’s view of technology products and vendors.
