As Director of Facilities and Operations for CITRIS at UC Berkeley, Domenico manages the day-to-day building operations in Sutardja Dai Hall, tenant improvement projects, and supports CITRIS researchers in using Sutardja Dai Hall as a testbed and living laboratory for energy efficiency projects.
Dan Chapman is Curator of the CITRIS Tech Museum, as well as Senior Artist for CITRIS and the Department of Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley. He also serves as a Lab Manager in the CITRIS Invention Lab.
Paula Cott began her position as administrative specialist for CITRIS and the Banatao Institute in March 2019. She has more than ten years of administrative experience in the hospitality industry, most recently as a sales administrative assistant for Marriott International.
As Program Manager at the CITRIS Foundry Innovation Incubator, Kira Gardner supports teams and individuals pursuing technical innovation for a broad range of high impact challenges. Prior to CITIRIS, she was project manager and senior scientist at Cyclotron Road advanced materials start-up, Sepion Technologies. Kira earned her MSc. in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University and her BSc. in Physics from UC Santa Barbara.
Dan Gillette works at the intersection of design and culture, with a special focus on public health, disability, civic life, education, and aging. Dan currently is a senior research scientist and co-director of Tech for Social Good at the Center for Information Technology in the Interest of Society (CITRIS) and the Banatao Institute at UC Berkeley.
As Finance Specialist, Nathan Gossett assists with fiscal administration and analysis, and with managing the seed funding process. He also assists where needed on other administrative tasks.
As the Facilities and Operations Assistant for CITRIS at UC Berkeley, Reginald is responsible for assisting the Director of Facilities and Operations with day-to-day building operations, tenant improvement projects, and granting access to Sutardja Dai Hall. In addition, he provides front desk reception and administrative support for all of the CITRIS at UC Berkeley staff.
Kat Madrigal Cheng is the Digital Communications Manager for CITRIS and Bantao Institute. Before joining CITRIS, Kat was the External Relations Manager for the Human Rights Center at Berkeley Law. Kat has experience working in both the nonprofit and education sector and is skilled in project management, visual design, and strategic communication.
Lorie is the Events Manager for CITRIS headquarters at UC Berkeley. She manages the events staff, room rentals, and all event scoping, design, coordination, implementation, and post-event evaluation. Lorie is the “go-to” contact person for all CITRIS-related events at the UC Berkeley, UC Davis, UC Merced and UC Santa Cruz campuses.
Cynthia is the Administrative Assistant to CITRIS at UC Santa Cruz. She provides executive-level support for multiple computer science research centers, including the Storage Systems Research Center (SSRC), Center for Research in Storage Systems (CRSS), Data Science at Santa Cruz (DSSC), and Center for Information Technology Research in the Interest of Society (CITRIS).
