Nate Metzler is the academic program manager for CITRIS at UC Davis, where he coordinates and promotes CITRIS programs, including the Workforce Innovation Program, on the UC Davis campus. He led the Sustainability Prize and Tech for Social Good competitions and the CITRIS Mobile App Challenge, and he founded the first research laboratory facility for uncrewed aerial systems on the UC Davis campus. With an aviation marketing background, he promoted new aircraft technology in the private aviation industry. He is an active pilot member in the Cal Aggie Flying Club. He has a passion for connecting people with emerging technologies and innovative new products.
Metzler earned his undergraduate degree in business management from the University of Colorado and an MBA from California State University.
