We are delighted to bring you the first edition of CITRIS Insights–our partner-exclusive newsletter. Our objective is to enhance the value of your partnership by providing an early window into exciting innovations from CITRIS and the Banatao Institute, while highlighting opportunities to expand your interactions with researchers, entrepreneurs, and other professionals in the CITRIS ecosystem.
In each issue, we will shine our spotlight on different elements of CITRIS–beginning with a focus on human-robot interactions. Robotics has evolved dramatically over the past half-century, and robots now work side by side with humans in an increasing number of industries. Below you will find exciting work being done by CITRIS researchers in precision agriculture, smart manufacturing, and improved robot dexterity.
You will also be the first to hear about opportunities for interaction with the CITRIS community. We believe the best ‘technology transfer’ happens through conversations and the most creative ideas are born when people of different backgrounds and disciplines come together. Our program will help you interact effectively with academia, and also provide a pre-competitive platform to meet and engage your peers in industry and government.
