Join us for CITRIS Day 2015 on October 13

In celebration of our 15th anniversary, we highlight activities core to our mission: bringing innovative methods, insights, and tools from the classroom to the marketplace and society at large. Panels on Deep Learning for Robotics, the Future of Technology-Mediated Education, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship in a University Environment illustrate the depth and breadth of CITRIS’s intellectual resources.

We are honored to welcome former Governor Gray Davis to the program and proud to demonstrate CITRIS’s realization of his vision for the Institutes of Science and Innovation, established in 2001. In addition to Governor Davis, we are delighted to feature remarks from a national leader in the Maker Movement, Dale Dougherty, and a thought leader in artificial intelligence research, Professor Stuart Russell.

Displays, demonstrations, and lab tours throughout Sutardja Dai Hall will reveal the ingenuity and creativity in our invention ecosystem. We invite you to spend time getting to know the students, staff and faculty that make up the rich CITRIS community at Berkeley, Davis, Merced, and Santa Cruz.

Thank you for making CITRIS Day a success!
