The Innovation Expo is a research showcase that opens and connects the enormous wealth of leading-edge energy research from UC Berkeley, Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, and relevant local start-ups to the public.
With more than 100 presenters and 500 attendees, the Expo promises a highly engaging environment where energy professionals, students, researchers and investors can explore the innovations that will shape the future of the industry. The Expo will also feature interactive demonstrations and prototypes, giving attendees an opportunity to see some of the prominent research ideas in action.
In addition to the research showcase, the Innovation Expo will also host an innovation/use case competition on the commercialization of a Lawrence Berkeley Lab and/or Sponsor technology.
