CITRIS researcher Ricardo Sanfelice, a professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UC Santa Cruz, is the lead investigator on a five-year, $5.7 million grant from the National Science Foundation to explore a new vision of cyber-physical systems.
“This research will have direct impact in the rapidly growing, multibillion dollar autonomous systems market,” said Sanfelice.
CITRIS PI Murat Arcak, a professor of electrical engineering and computer sciences at UC Berkeley, is a co-investigator on the award. They are joined by colleagues at the University of Pennsylvania, Vanderbilt University, University of Colorado at Boulder, the Norwegian University of Science Technology and Italy’s IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca.
