CITRIS researcher Alexandre Bayen has received a 2012 IBM Shared University Award in recognition for his collaborative work between UC Berkeley and Singapore. Bayen, an Associate Professor in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Civil and Environmental Engineering, is working with the IBM Research Collaboratory in Singapore on the next generation of road pricing systems using mobile devices.
“Hopefully, this grant will continue growing the CITRIS initiatives in smart cities and intelligent infrastructure,” said Bayen.
