Biography
Takahide Inoue is long time advocate of U.C. Berkeley School of Engineering and has been Special Advisor to CITRIS since its foundation in 2001. He is also Founder and Principal of BA Consulting Group Company and has been Senior Consultant for Japanese Semiconductor Technology Research Corporation STARC since 1998. His role in CITRIS is to promote the institute as a prominent model of the foundation for research and dissemination of the international Academia-Industry-Government collaboration in the interest of Society of 21 century. From 1965 to 1998, Takahide had been a member of Sony Corporation mostly of its semiconductor business unit and was Senior Vice President of Sony Engineering and Manufacturing of America in San Jose from 1991 to 1998. He received B.S in Electrical Engineering from Keio-Gijyuku University and MBA from Northeastern University.
