If you’re looking for inspiration on app development or are curious about joining the Mobile App Challenge next year, come out to Demo Day 2016 for the CITRIS Mobile App Challenge.
On Tuesday, May 3rd, at 10:00am in Banatao Auditorium, Sutardja Dai Hall, our finalist teams will present during a public Demo Day event to a panel of judges that include socially-minded technology and education leaders. The event culminates in a showcase of the students’ apps and presentation of awards and cash prizes to the winning teams!
To promote innovation, community service, and career development among UC Berkeley students, CITRIS sponsored a semester-long competition for undergraduate and graduate students to develop mobile apps for social impact in following categories:
- Civic Tech & Smart Communities
- Education
- Energy, Climate & The Environment
- Health
Light refreshments will be served.
