Workshop #1: PD exercise

The AppCivist project of the Social Apps Lab at CITRIS (Connected Communities Initiative) in partnership with Inria, led by Professor James Holston, has won the 2016-17 Chancellor’s Award for Public Service in the category of Campus-Community Partnership in collaboration with the City of Vallejo. All award recipients are honored at an awards ceremony and reception on May 2, 2017, at 3 p.m. in Krutch Theatre on the Clark Kerr campus at UC Berkeley.

Each year, the Chancellor recognizes students, staff, faculty, and community partnerships that embody UC Berkeley’s proud tradition of public service and commitment to improving our local and global community. Faculty, staff, undergraduate and graduate students, student organizations, and campus-community partnerships are all eligible. Award categories include: civic engagement, community-engaged teaching, research in the public interest, and campus-community partnership.
